VIDEO: AAA MIDGET BUFFALOES BOW OUT OF MAC'S TOURNAMENT

The Calgary Buffaloes didn't spend much time in the P.A. Mintos' zone during the 3rd period

The Calgary Buffaloes didn't spend much time in the P.A. Mintos' zone during the 3rd period because of penalty troubles

After getting off to a great start in the Mac’s AAA Midget Tournament the dreams of a repeat for the Calgary Buffaloes has come to an end. The Buffs came into Wednesday’s game against the Prince Albert Mintos needing at least a point to stay alive. Unfortunately for the Buffs the Mintos didn’t even allow them to get a sniff. Right from the get go the Mintos carried the play, doubling the defending champs in shots and jumping out to a 1-0 lead after the first. The Buffs still had a chance going into the second period thanks mainly to the play of goaltender Bryton Udy. In the second the Buffs seemed to match the play of the Mintos but surrendered two more goals. Continue Reading
