The City of Calgary recently announced a $3.3 million citywide initiative which aims to increase the availability of after-school programs for children and youth ages 6-16.  The Calgary Afterschool Program puts the city in a leadership position to coordinate and improve program availability, quality and access to funding for structured, supervised after-school activities.

Lord Beaverbrook High School will host the world premiere of The Rantifesto, a play written by teacher Nan Nassef.  The Rantifesto will be performed at the school in April and at the Calgary High School Drama Festival in May. Continue Reading
