I was in a meeting this week when I overheard a colleague crack a joke about his ongoing hassle getting through customs. On further inquiry I was not impressed with what I heard.
We have three consultants that fly in regularly from the US. Two who sail right through customs, and one who repeatedly gets pulled aside for additional inspection. I have heard that since 9/11 travelers heading to and from the Middle East are subjected to this regularly. But when I asked, he said he had no such history of travel stamped in his passport.
