Police are looking for a flasher after a man exposed his genitals to a 10-year old girl in the common hallway of Plaza 34 at 3522 19 Street S.W. Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday the girl was approached from behind by a man who exposed himself to her. She screamed and ran from the man, who also fled the scene. Continue Reading

The Calgary Police Service Graffiti Unit has been busy in the southwest lately. Three youths were charged after they were spotted spraying buildings on May 27 and on Sunday police arrested two men Sunday and charged them with with similar offences. Continue Reading

Did it not occur to anyone at City Hall that the residents of Glenbrook might think tearing up part of their dog park to build condos is a gigantic conflict of interest, and that said residents might organize public protests and start Facebook pages to protect green space in a community that has far less green space than most established communities? Two men wanted on outstanding warrants were arrested by Calgary police during a bust have now been charged with a variety of trafficking, weapons and other charges. Dimitrios Guikas, 54, and George Donovan Brown, 48, were both also wanted on Canada-wide immigration warrants. Continue Reading
