Calgary crime statistics as reported by Calgary Crimestoppers.  Year to date in 2010, there have been 300 tips to Crimestoppers that resulted in six arrests and 16 charges being laid.  As a result of tips to Crimestoppers in January, almost $5 million in drugs have been seized by police.  Continue Reading

It’s been busy in all the Calgary Police Service districts lately. District 2 had 38 car prowling reports from Jan. 10 to Jan. 16, the most in the city. District 6 was close behind with 21, but did have the most break and enters, 11 household and 14 commercial.  The quietest part of the city was District 8 with only four vehicle thefts.
