Twellow is a free listing for all Social Media. It works similar to online yellow pages except you find Social Media information.
It will also keep track of your friends (those who you follow and who follow you back) as well as a list of those who follow you without being followed by you. You can track who you are following that does not follow you. This is a nice feature; I like to know who’s not following me as I believe communication is a two way street so you should always follow back… or at least until they drive you nuts!
There is a suggested users feature which is really cool: it lists people who have similar interests to you that you may want to follow. I personally like to follow local people so the Twellowhood feature is my favourite. You can tweet directly from Twellow, although I haven’t used this feature. I’m a hootsuite girl, but that’s a whole other article.
The listings are rated by the number of followers and not by who’s been verified; which I feel is a bit of a downfall. I’d rather see people listed by verification. I’m verified but still on page 6! It takes over 10,000 followers to be on page one. But none then less, I can be found if you search for me.
