In this segment, Calgary Egmont MLA Jonathan Denis talks about the Alberta Human Rights Commission, changes he would like to see to the Alberta Human Rights Act and a private member’s motion that would require individuals or groups lodging a complaint to pay legal costs if the commission found for the other party. Mr. Denis says he is an advocate of of free speech and human rights legislation is too often used to silence critics for political reasons.
