Brad Richard Fredrikesen, 37, of Calgary, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failure to abide by conditions of his day parole
Calgary police are searching for a parolee who may be armed. Brad Richard Fredrikesen, 37, of Calgary, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failure to abide by conditions of his day parole. Mr. Fredrikesen is serving a federal sentence for an assault charge, drug-trafficking charges, as well as various other municipal (bylaw) offences. Today at approximately 9:45 a.m. police received information that Mr. Fredrikesenwas at a residence located in the 1500 block of 15 Avenue S.W.
It was alleged he may be armed with a firearm, and there was a woman in the home with him. To ensure the safety of the people in the home and members of the public the Tactical Unit, accompanied by district personnel, set up containment on the residence.
Officers found a woman in the home, and subsequently cleared the residence. Mr. Fredrikesen was not located in the home. Members of the Calgary Police Service Fugitive Apprehension Detail are attempting to locate him.
Mr. Fredrikesen is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing approximately 190 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
He may be armed and police caution that he should not be approached. They ask that any resident who spots him call police at 9-1-1 if you see him. If citizens have any information about his whereabouts, please call police at 403-266-1234.
