There have only been three Canadian drivers to ever crack Formula 1 – the legendary Villeneuves, pere et fils, and Allen Berg from Calgary.
Allen who?

Allen has never received the recognition or respect he deserved as one of Canada’s top professional drivers. He has been very successful in every racing series he participated in. He raced all over the world, including spending most of the 1990s carving out an excellent career in Mexico.
Allen returned to Calgary several years ago to start Allen Berg Racing Schools. The venture has been quite successful thus far, but the impending end to Race City in 2010 will force the school to relocate.
